Some roses become more than just plants—they become part of your journey.
Amandine Chanel has been with me for almost six months.
During that time, she rewarded my care with one breathtaking flush after another, producing countless beautiful blooms that proudly appeared in many of my blog posts. Watching her flourish has been one of the greatest joys of growing roses.
Today, it’s time for her to begin a new chapter in a new home.
I won’t deny that it’s difficult to let her go, especially when there isn’t another Amandine Chanel available to fulfill a customer’s order. But every special rose eventually finds the gardener who has been waiting for it.
I hope she will be loved and cared for just as much in her new home as she was here. Don’t worry—I made sure her new owner took home the complete rose care package, including the fertilizers and plant protection products she needs. She certainly won’t go hungry!
Her new owner’s gardening journey is quite an interesting one. He started with roses, experienced the disappointment of losing them, switched to growing orchids, and has now fallen in love with roses all over again. For this new beginning, he chose Amandine Chanel—a rose that is both exceptionally rare and undeniably elegant.

As for me, I’ll be eagerly waiting for next week, when a younger Amandine Chanel arrives to take your place. Every farewell in the garden marks the beginning of another beautiful story, and that’s one of the things I love most about growing roses.
