Greetings, fellow gardening enthusiasts! Today, I'm thrilled to share the story of my Juicy Terrazza, which I affectionately refer to as the Juice King Terrazza. This magnificent rose isn't officially mine, but it resides in my cherished rose corner, courtesy of a generous customer. Sharing with you some beauty photos that I just took this morning on 7th Oct 2023 after few months under taking care lots.
It all began when this customer acquired the beautiful Terrazza rose and decided to repot it. However, the choice of a thick top layer of soil caused extensive damage to the delicate roots. When she realized the challenge, she entrusted me with the care of this special rose, and I gladly accepted the responsibility.
With great care and attention, I embarked on a mission to nurse the Juicy Terrazza back to its former glory. After much effort, I can now proudly share the progress of this rejuvenated rose with its rightful owner.
My plan for the Juicy Terrazza includes keeping it under my wing for a few more months. During this time, I aim to train it to produce more basal suckers, a process that began when I removed a few branches to save the plant. To achieve this, I've diligently bent down and tied its branches, a technique that encourages the growth of new sprouts from lower flowering eye buds.
Some gardeners might opt for the use of a growth hormone like T90, but here at SG Rose Corner, we prefer a more natural approach. We believe that by gently guiding the rose's growth through careful pruning and training, we can achieve stunning results without the need for excessive intervention.
So, while T90 may have its merits, we choose to rely on time-honored techniques and a touch of humor 🤣 to nurture our roses to perfection. After all, the Juicy Terrazza is a testament to the beauty and resilience of nature, and I can't wait to see it thrive even more in the coming months.
Stay tuned for updates on the Juicy Terrazza's journey at SG Rose Corner, and feel free to share your own rose care tips and experiences in the comments below. Happy gardening! 🌹🌿
