Has Anyone Ever Said This to You?
Why not just buy cut roses to arrange in a vase? Why go through all the trouble of growing roses?
Sounds reasonable, doesn’t it? But for me, growing roses isn’t t just about having flowers to cut and arrange. It’s s about the joy of watching each bloom unfold day by day, right on the branch. I can’t t bring myself to cut the roses I’ve nurtured so carefully. Instead, I prefer to let them blossom naturally, displaying their vibrant colors until each delicate petal gracefully falls - like a mesmerising dance of time that only true flower lovers can fully appreciate.
Flower arranging is also a passion of mine, but not in the form of placing 20, 30, or even 50 roses into a large vase. My preferred style is Ikebana - the Japanese art of floral arrangement, where just a few branches and leaves are enough to create a refined and expressive masterpiece.
On days when my garden has no blooms to admire, I find comfort in watching Ikebana videos learning new techniques while feeling a sense of calm and inspiration.
