Colour Flower: Mauve or purple blend.  
Flower Fragrance: Strong, sweet fragrance.  35 to 45 petals.  
Shape Bloom: Average diameter 4.75".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, scalloped bloom form.  
Time Bloom: Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit: Upright, well-branched.  Leathery foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Height: 37" to 43" (95 to 110cm).  
Hardiness Zone: USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to disease.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  
According to Mary Buck, working from Griffith Buck's notes, the parentage is actually [(Soir d'Automne x Music Maker) x Solitude] x [(Mainzer Fastnacht x Tom Brown) x Autumn Dusk]

A new variety of hybrid tea rose plant having profuse production of violet-blue flowers of excellent color stability. The plant is also notable for the precociousness with which lateral buds develop and the survivability of the plant under winter conditions without cold weather
protection.
