Fendai

🌹 FENDAI – FOR ROSE LOVERS WHO ADORE STRONG FRAGRANCE & EASY-CARE BEAUTY

If you are looking for a rose that combines beautiful blooms, an intense fragrance, good heat tolerance, and easy care, Fendai is definitely one to consider.

🌸 A BEAUTIFUL CHINESE ROSE

Fendai was bred by Jiang Zhengzhi (江正之) in China and introduced in 2013.

Its soft pink blooms have a distinctive form that combines the elegant, high-centered shape of a traditional rose with the romantic fullness of an old-fashioned bloom. As the flower opens, the petals spread gracefully, revealing a delicate pale-pink center.

And then comes the fragrance…

✨ STRONG, RICH & MEMORABLE

Fendai is especially attractive to fragrance lovers. Its flowers release a strong myrrh fragrance blended with the classic richness of Damask rose—deep, sophisticated, and wonderfully noticeable in the garden.

🌿 BEAUTIFUL, BUT NOT DIFFICULT

Fendai is not simply a pretty rose. It is also known for several qualities that make it appealing to growers:

• Prolific flowering
• Good repeat blooming
• Good heat tolerance
• Good disease resistance
• Relatively easy to grow
• Suitable even for beginners

For gardeners in warmer climates, these characteristics make Fendai particularly interesting. Instead of having to choose between beauty, fragrance and performance, Fendai brings all three together in one rose.

💕 THE MEANING BEHIND “FENDAI”

The name Fendai (粉黛) is traditionally associated with feminine beauty and can poetically refer to a beautiful woman.

And perhaps that is exactly what this rose resembles—a graceful lady dressed in soft pink: elegant at first glance, intensely fragrant when you come closer, yet surprisingly strong and resilient.

🌹 Fendai – soft in colour, rich in fragrance, generous in bloom and easy to love.

If you love roses that you can enjoy not only with your eyes but also through their fragrance, Fendai deserves a place in your rose collection.
