🌹 Kate™ – A Royal Symphony of Magenta and Grace 👑💖
Average Rating: EXCELLENT | Bred by David Austin (UK, 2004)
Introduced in 2014 by David Austin Roses, UK | English Rose Collection
Meet Kate™, a stunning rose named in honour of timeless British elegance — and just like her royal namesake, she commands admiration with poise and power.
Her large, luxurious blooms open from long, pointed buds into cup-shaped rosettes filled with up to 65 petals of deep fuchsia-magenta tones. Hints of yellow undertones peek through in the early bloom, later aging into regal purple, creating a show-stopping gradient effect in every blossom. 🌸
But Kate doesn’t just look majestic — she smells like royalty too. Breathe in her rich geranium, raspberry, and classic rose fragrance — a bold, fruity perfume that captivates the senses and lingers in the air like a whispered promise of summer.
This English Shrub Rose, specially bred for cut flower perfection, blooms continuously throughout the season, offering an endless supply of beauty. Whether grown in your garden or cut for a vase, her very full flowers (41+ petals) bloom mostly solitary or in charming small clusters, each one an artwork of colour and scent.
Supported by elegant grey-green, leathery foliage with 5 to 7 leaflets, Kate grows upright and graceful to a height of 130 cm and width of 75 cm, making her perfect for borders, rose beds, or floral displays.
