It is very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant, and very mildew resistant, making it easy to care for and maintain. It does require spring freeze protection, but with proper care, it will thrive in USDA zone 6b and warmer.
This rose is dedicated to Belgium's old glory and premier automotive marque, Minerva, which built cars from 1899 to 1939 in Antwerp. It was also introduced in cooperation with the Minerva Lions group in Antwerp for charity. Air layering is a process to make a new plant from an existing plant. The section of plant stem grows roots and stays attached to the mother plant until they have formed after 1 month. Airlayering rooted roses takes 6 to 8 weeks to grow and start producing first flower. They are much cheaper than bareroots, however, they require more attention and skills for take care of them.
