Utsusemi is a Floribunda rose variety bred by Takashi Kawai of Japan in 2011. It is known for its strong fragrance, with hints of clove, tea rose and vanilla. The blooms are medium-sized and full, with 41 or more petals, and they come in a coffee to apricot color. Utsusemi blooms in flushes throughout the season, and grows up to 28 inches tall.
